Beware of over trainingOver training can cause repetition injuries and actually hinder your enduranceSix cardio days a week is a lot of training for a 5kAt least two rest days a week from cardio would be betterStrength training is an excellent ideaMix things up and keep your fitness fresh - you'll be fitter and better off for it.
it actually takes longer to pull inside the car than just pulling the motor outAlso consider how you are going to get the crank and bearings back in after you remove itI would HIGHLY suggest just pulling the motorIt will save 4-5 hours in the long run.
