Question:

Transmission rebuilt by Aamco?

How long does a rebuilt transmission last from Aamco?

Answer:

Until the warranty runs out or 50,000 miles whichever comes first. A rebuilt transmission is not a new transmission. A rebuilt transmission usually contains new clutch packs and/ or friction bands. Plus, they have new fluid, filters and possibly new valves and solenoids. And, they contain new parts that looked worn when the trans was rebuilt. However, the trans may have hidden problems such as micro-cracks in the gear teeth or drive shafts. If they are unnoticed during the rebuild process they will not get replaced. These can fail at any time.
if you get it serviced once a year it will out last the car
