My horse is very spooky, he's scared of the gate,pool,chickens, and basically everythingI want to use him in rodeos and things like that, but i don't feel safe going places with him..So, what are some ways i can help him get over this?2. Well if your under 18 and living at your parents home, you will probably not be able to convince them. If I had a child at home (I'm 41) I would not let them have one. I would how ever teach them the proper way of handling a rifle or a shotgun and they would have one of those after they passed the hunter's safety course. The difference is that a gun no matter if they shoot plastic bb's or a bullet, they are still guns. You should never point a gun at somebody unless your life is in jeopardy
