Question:

UK Motorcycle Practical Test Protective Clothing Needed?

Apart from a helmet, do I need (by law) to wear any other protective clothing when taking my full motorcycle test?

Answer:

check out your local salvation army or goodwill store,it seems every one ive ever been at has an old movie projector or screen stuck in a corner somewhere ,it would be worth a try anyway-unless your just wanting to make your own,in that case go to wal mart and buy some safety reflective spraypaint.(or Ace hardware)
I just wanted to make a comment on Shawna's responce. Almost everything she had to say was good except the telling him to stay put part. What if there was a real fire and you couldn't get to him, but he thinks he must stay put. It is never to early to begin practicing fire drills. Teach him where to go if there is a fire and what to do in that situation. Such as going to a neighbor to alert firemen, etc In kindigarten he will learn all this stuff anyways so you should teach him yourself. Explain to him the purpose of the firealarm and why it beeps so loud. Tell him that the fire alarm was simply alerting the household to the presence of smoke which could also mean that there was a fire. Comparing it to a super hero, etc. is a great idea. Please make a fire exit plan for you child so he will feel secure. NEVER TELL A CHILD TO STAY PUT WHEN A LIFE SAVING DEVICE SUCH AS A FIRE ALARM IS GOING OFF. When the fire alarm goes off it could mean that there is a fire and you don't want your child cowering in his room waiting for Daddy if for some reason Daddy can't come. Be safe and educate your child so he will no longer fear the fire alarm. Below are some sites to help you educate your child.
Simply tell him you can not turn the smoke dector off because it is a part of the house.
