Question:

w4001-Set up a 95% confidence interval estimate of the population proportion of licensed child-care?

W04001How safe are licensed child-care providers? A recent survey by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) raised some concerns about possible safety hazards (Lynn Rosellini, U.S. News World Report, April 26, 1999, p. 64). The CPSC surveyed 220 licensed child-care providers and found that 148 had at least one safety hazard. At 84 of the child-care facilities, children were wearing clothing with neck drawstrings which can possibly cause strangulation, and 42 had cribs with soft bedding that can lead to suffocation.(a) Set up a 95% confidence interval estimate of the population proportion of licensed child-care providers that have at least one safety hazard. Interpret this interval.(b) Set up a 95% confidence interval estimate of the population proportion of licensed child-care providers that have children wearing clothing with neck drawstrings. Interpret this interval.(c) Set up a 95% confidence interval estimate of the population proportion of cribs with soft bedding

Answer:

You can take them to the landlord tenant act, and they will break the lease for you, because its illegal not to have a smoke detector, and its life risking, Ive been through this before. The owner of the building can loose the building that you live in due to this.
First Id be VERY concerned if my spurs had large jowels.. But I digress Spurs are aids to proper training and do not replace proper leg aids. Define your need for them.. Is it to create more impulsion? Why do you need it ? Is it a training issue that can be worked out without an artificial aid, and what exercises have you integrated into your training regimen that makes you think you need to now add spurs? What is your discipline? Are you using them under supervision - i.e a trainer, for the first several times ?You can create an overly sensitive horse with spurs - even so called mild prince of wales spurs, and that can easily do more to regress your training than forward it. Im ok with spurs as long as they are on a truly educated leg.Otherwise, they really dont have a place with novice amatures.
