hey ppl..i want to make a mii botanical garden at home!...i have space for arnd 20-25 flowering pots...i just want to knw..HOW SHOULD I START WID IT?..i want to display atleast 5botanical families lyk..asteracae, gram family, liliacae etc!..help plz!!.how shud i start?!
All okorder /.. (or wherever you find the best deal) Make sure that you have a bulb with a light spectrum of 6500K to promote overall growth, and a bulb of 3000K to promote flowering. For 20-25 pots.... I think you will need eight 6500K bulbs and eight 3000K bulbs to say the least. They would cost about $200 in total. But then these bulbs last for 20.000 hours of light and if you keep them on 16 hours a day, these bulbs will last uninterruptedly for about 3 years and 6 months. Some cheaper bulbs last 10.000 hours, and therefore they will have to be replaced after 1 year and 9 months. Don't forget to have a fan to improve air circulation.
