Two of my tires got pretty much destroyed by something sharp in the road. One of the tires had a warranty since i just got it last year. It was from pepboys. When the tow truck came he brought me to a tire place since pep boys was far away. I could only afford to buy one new tire, so i got it then used my spare as the other tire. This happened about a week ago so if I go to pep boys can I use the warranty to get a new tire? But i do not have the flat tire with me. The other place got rid of it when they put the new tire on.So will pep boys still accept the warranty without any proof?
Only if you voted for Obama in the last election. Otherwise you are required to deal with reality at all times.
Ask Pep Boys. What are you bothering us for?
off their site: Replacement Road Hazard Warranty can save you the expense of tire replacement. If your Pep Boys tire becomes unusable due to a road hazard related mishap and cannot be repaired, we will, subject to pro-rated adjustment based upon the remaining usable tread on the tire, replace the unusable tire or give you a refund. While Pep Boys will remount the tire for free, there will be a cost for re-balancing the replacement tire. Coverage extends to such damage as unrepairable tread punctures damage from potholes, nails, glass and jagged metal which cause cuts, snags, punctures, impact breaks, bruises and rim cuts. sounds like you will need to have the tyre to get the warranty. You should always replace tyres in pairs.
