Wondering if anyone can decode this behavior from a fellow employee: They found out I was taking a course at a local college on marketing handmade goods in flea markets in NYC. They condescendingly said quot;Goooood luck with thatquot; and gave me a long, purposeful look that was supposed to say they either felt sorry for me or something along those lines. It was completely weird, especially given the fact that they didn't ask what I planned to make and market.I can't figure out if they are a dream crusher type or just ignorant of artists' selling at flea markets. The look was so sustained that it seemed they were trying to make a point. Creeped me out. Any thoughts?
i think the co-worker likes you why not ask him whether he likes you or not and see how it goes from there.
Yup, sound like dream crushed. I think they were saying quot;not going anywherequot; bad idea. It#x27;s your dream, good luck with it. :)
You should give a smile every time when they poke such behaviour without taking a burden on your mind. Take them as passers by. Concentrate on your job.Sooner or later they will be all right.
Q: I can't figure out if they are a dream crusher type or just ignorant... A: Possibly both. An ignorant dream crusher. However... if you're known for starting and then abandoning a variety of personal projects then he may have been implying that your new adventure is headed nowhere, like the last 40 things you've tried out. It's fine if one wishes to haphazardly fly about from one great idea to the next but don't expect others to be equally interested or enthused.
