you can braze Aluminium with Oxy/Acet, and there is a special rod that can be used for this purpose. MIG: To do MIG welding on Aluminium there are a few things that you need to change, first one is your tip, you need to go a size bigger for example, if you are using a 0.8mm wire you need to use 0.9mm tip for it. you need to change you conduit liner, this the liner which is inside you torch, there is a special one for the aluminium. And last thing would be you feed rollers inside the machine, you need to get U-Grooved roller which are for aluminium, and of course, you need to get aluminium wire as well.
Lincoln Electric has good information on welding aluminum. It used to be accepted knowledge that torch welding of aluminum was not possible, but that has changed with new fluxes.
