Question:

What are all the different kinds of metal?? ( music )?

Eg: hardcore, death metal, heavy metal, screamo.... Etc

Answer:

Groove metal (sometimes called post-thrash or simply groove) is a subgenre of heavy metal. It is often used to describe Pantera and Exhorder. At its core, groove metal takes the intensity and sonic qualities of thrash metal and plays it at a mid-tempo, with most bands making only occasional forays into fast tempo. BQ1: Thrash Metal BQ2: Death Metal BQ3: Alternative Metal BQ4: Papa Roach
Groove metal is a subgenre of metal which is slower and relies more on groovy rhythms rather than on fast thrash riffs. In many cases groove metal features downtuned guitars (in man cases also dropped tunings) and it is usually in mid-tempo. Also, groove metal usually features harsher vocals than in thrash metal and overall the sound is heavier. Groove metal examples: Pantera, Sepultura (later), Machine Head, Exhorder etc. BQ: Thrash metal BQ2: Death metal BQ3: Alt metal BQ4: none
Pantera is a perfect example of groove metal.
