Physical # Aluminum has a density of 2.7g/cm? # Aluminum has an atomic volume ( Molar volume) of 10.00cm3 # Aluminum has a melting point of 660.32 °C # Aluminum has a boiling point of 2519 °C # Aluminum has a Electrical resistivity of 2.65 Chemical # Aluminum has a resistance to oxidation # Aluminums Electron Configuration is [Ne] 3p^1 # Aluminum is created by using an electronic method (Electrolysis) on pure Al2O3 Hope that helps!
Physical Properties Of Aluminum
Chemical Properties Of Aluminum
This won't answer all your questions but I hope this helps... 1) Aluminum - symbol (Al) Physical -Melting point: 660.4 C -Boiling point: 2467 C -Soft and lightweight (density 2.7 g.cm^-3 at 20 C) -Dull silver appearance due to a thin layer of oxidation that forms quickly when it is exposed to air. -Aluminum is nontoxic (as the metal) nonmagnetic and non-sparking. Chemical -Pure aluminum easily forms alloys with many elements such as copper, zinc, magnesium, manganese and silicon. 2) Iron - symbol (Fe) Physical -Melting point 1536 °C -Boiling point 2861 °C -lustrous, ductile, malleable, silver-gray metal Chemical -It is known to exist in four distinct crystalline forms. -Iron rusts in dump air, but not in dry air. -It dissolves readily in dilute acids. -Iron is chemically active and forms two major series of chemical compounds, the bivalent iron (II), or ferrous, compounds and the trivalent iron (III), or ferric, compounds 3) Chromium - symbol (Cr) Physical -Melting point 1907 °C -Boiling point 2672 °C -Chromium is a lustrous, brittle, hard metal. -Its colour is silver-gray and it can be highly polished. Chemical -It does not tarnish in air, when heated it borns and forms the green chromic oxide. -Chromium is unstable in oxygen, it immediately produces a thin oxide layer that is impermeable to oxygen and protects the metal below. -Chromium main uses are in alloys such as stainless steel, in chrome plating and in metal ceramics.
