If you are in stop and go traffic at a stop sign yes you can down shift to first gear. But most vehicles should be able to take off from a dead stop in 2nd gear if you do it right. Also as far as going over a speed bump if you are going over them very slowly you can engage your clutch just you go over the bump. Driving a stick shift is no harder than driving a automatic shift vehicle.
Depends on what material is used to form the bubble. Weather balloons made of reflective vinyl or similar can certainly exist in space. They are designed for that extreme condition. They are bubbles if we accept the dictionary definition as a hollow globule of gas. My point is that your question is way too ambiguous. In physics and other sciences, thinking has to be precise and unambiguous to be meaningful. This is one reason the format for presenting hypotheses and theories is quite well defined and formal in the scientific community.
