I already have exhaust, tint, and a sound system.
Does anyone you know have a small dirt bike you could ride around the yard to build confidence and balance? It may sound a little stupid, but learning skills on something smaller, that doesn't intimidate you, is a big plus. The biggest thing is to stay calm and relaxed.
I am with the guy who say take the class first. if you lack the confidance and coordination to drive a manual car. a motorcycle will get you hurt. If you are on the bike thinking about you son then you are not thinking about riding the bike and that is sure to catch up to you sooner rather than later. take the class then if you feel more comfortable get the bike.
change s2000 antenna, get some hids, paint rims (save cash for new shoes) Mine are gold , cold air intake, springs and shocks.
Well i'm not a female but ride safe, when you sit down a bike does it feel right to you ,can sit with your feet touching ground as flat as possible? learn wher theres no traffic first say a parking lot of school (junior colleges good place0 ride with some one you trust! wear helmet even if law say you don't have to! wear long jeans, and good shoes (no flip-flops) When approaching an intersection slow down gradually till you can put down one foot then apply brakes! when making a right turn keep weight centered to bike! when making left lean a little foward into turn, when leaving drive-way always check both ways and try to keep one foot down so you wont drop bike (Ive done that) Lastly enjoy and have fun!
