Probably safest to replace them. I doubt they can be fixed anyway, it's usually a case of checking the battery is fully charged, if it is, chuck the thing and buy a new one.

Apparently the have too much talent (or think they do). Move to another department that NEEDS firefighters. Or you can file a suit and yada yada yada and waste your life in court. The fact is if you have all of the trainingyou are a valuable commodityand somewhere there is a department that needs you. The advantage of shopping for a new department is that YOU can assess the prick factor to see where YOU feel comfortable. Sounds to me like you are dealing with a bunch of guys that are simply ashamed of the fact that a women can do the same job that they do after they have gone to all of the trouble of convincing themselves that they are uniquely male. Messing you car up is not a prankif someone messes with my car they have declared war.
Perhaps they are making you one of 'the boys'. If they were sexist, wouldn't the target the other women?
