Question:

What are the measurements for the posts and locking nut? What are all the parts I need?

Can someone give me a list of all the parts I need to wire up my EVH except the pickups, knobs, and the Floyd. I'm using two humbuckers and my pickguard has two holes for a tone and a volume pot. Can someone tell me what other things I need to buy? What kind of switch would you recommend I buy? Also since you technically don't need to route the guitar for a Floyd other than the nut, because the routing is only if you want it to be free floating, what are the measurements for the posts, and the measurements for the locking nut?

Answer:

could be just dust in it, blow it out
maybe buy a new one it seems pretty old
It needs to be cleaned by taking off the cover and washing it in warm soapy water. Does it have a battery back up? If so the battery needs changing.
Sunscreen isn't meant to go on the skin around the eyes. Might this be your problem? If not the other thing it could be is allergy to pollen. Try just putting the sunscreen on your nose, cheeks, lips and chin and avoid the eyes area and the forehead. If this doesn't help, try some antihstimine.
Two possibilities: First, the replacement battery could be bad. It's rare, but it happens. And second, 15 years is a long time for a smoke detector. It's time to buy a new one. They've made improvements in detectors over the last 15 years, so it's worth the trouble to protect the family. Note: Do NOT replace a hard-wired unit with a battery-only unit. This may not meet code in your area, and could cost you your insurance coverage in the event of a fire. On the other side of that coin, replacing with the correct, updated hard-wired units could lower your insurance premium.
