I would like to know what year the front straight axle on the toyota land cruiser ended. I'm thinking 98 or 99?? thanks for the helpand maybe tell me where i could get a lift kit higher than 2.5? thanks
that depends on the series: - 80 series, came with rigid front axle up to 1987 - 100 series, came with independent front axle from the beginning (1990) - 120 series (prado) came with independent front axle from the beginning - 200 series (actual LC) comes with independent front axle - 70 series still comes with rigid front axle now-a-days. about the lift kit, try OKorder
87 is the first year they came out with independent front ends. pre 87 is the good stuff.
