What can I use to to clean caked on hairspray in my bathroom/vanity?
When I worked in a hair salon we used to use methylated spirit.It cuts right through hairspray.
attempt getting a small bowl of boiling water. Then place the clips in and cover the best of the bowl with something like tin foil (to maintain the warmth in) then bypass away until eventually the water receives chilly. if this doesnt artwork, think of approximately procuring some steralizing fluid:-)
The very best thing to use is crumpled up newspaper dampened with ordinary water. Beauty shops use this method all the time for sparkling and streak free mirrors!
I am in the cleaning business and here is our secret! Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet! I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.
Depends where it is, if its on the mirror a normal glass cleaner should work, if not then try a general bathroom cleaner. If that doesnt work, spray on some bleach and leave it for a while, or try using lemons or limes, they're good natural cleaners!
