Question:

what can insulation do to a dog if the dog eats it?

my dog ate some insulation i had laying in the bedroom floor while i was out i came home and she had gotten into it? well she got sick and died about 3 days later we thought she had parvo but she didn't have the symptoms of parvo so could have it been the insulation that made her sick like that?

Answer:

I remember seeing something like this on Animal Planet's Emergency Vet show a few years backThis woman had like 3 or 4 Corgi puppies, and they each were brought into the vet, one by one, with seizuresNone of them died, but the only thing they found in the house or yard that could have been dangerous to them was some exposed insulation in their shed outsideInsulation is made with fiberglass, that stuff is made of all short of crap that can be very poisonousI'm very sorry for your loss.
In a microwave add it to two cups of water and at HIGH power it will be ready in 8 mts On a stove top, two cups of water and rice added togetherBring to a boil with the lid half on topOnce the water boils cover the rice up and cook for 5/7 mtsRemove the lid and see if you see holes in between the cooked grains of rice and the water is all soaked upthis means your rice is readyif your see the holes but the rice feel uncooked and there is no water add 1/4 cup hot water cover and cook for a few more minutes.
