what causes gravity and how can we control it?
We use just regular everyday silicone in a caulking gun tube! Works great. Just make sure the pipe is dry and try not to le an water run down the pipe until the silicone sets up! Do it at night before you go to bed and it will be done by morning! Hope this helps! Good luck!
Can you sue your previous employer and win a law suit? Absolutely not. By leaving for 3 months from June 2011 to August 2011 you sealed your own fate. You basically abandoned your job. You are not entitled to unemployment. You were not able/available to work. You are now unemployed by personal choice. You should consider this a painful learning experience and move on with your life. In the future you should not leave town for 3 months if you will need a job when you return.
back in the old days, plumbers joined cast iron pipes with a rope-like cord called oakum and solder. They would clean the fittings, then stuff the oakum into the gap all the way around the pipe. Then they would heat up the joint and pour molten lead solder onto the oakum. Now a days, we use no-hub rubber couplers to join cast iron but that won't help you here. I would try to cleanout as much of the rot and then use a 2-part epoxy putty to fill the space. The epoxy putty comes in a stick that looks like black and grey clay you knead them together, then shove it into the gap as best you can. This is a stop-gap repair you would be best served in the long run, if you cut out the bad joint, then replace the pipe with a length of cast-iron and two no-hub rubber couplers.
That s lead solder and oakum. Try to collect the lead chips, to keep them out of children and the soil.
very confusing issue. research in google or bing. it could help!
