Know the German SS Panzer crew wore Black alot to hide grease stains when after combat for review to appear clean as well as menacing. Had reversable parkas with fall, spring patterns and on the inside reversed to white for snow. Shock and Awe put you down the right path. The Allies despised the Germans for being so ingenius.
