I just received a promotion at work. It is a wonderful opportunity but I am really clueless on what to learn first. I have administered and programmed our access control systems and I have advanced knowledge on IP based cctv systems and analytics. I am responsible for these systems and now our IP systems management. I have an AA degree and have a basic knowledge in Enterasys switches and MS 2003 server management. So what classes and certifications will help me be successful in this position? What classes do you suggest that I take first? My company has service contracts in place to support me but I want to feel confident in what I am doing.
