i've seen these really big, thick blankets. the width of the whole blanket is the tip of my index finger to the tip of my thumb when they are the farthest i can put them apart (it's really that thick).i have bed sheets and comforters on my bed but they are not nearly as thick.i've only ran into this blanket i'm asking about twice in my life, once in england, and once here in canada, at a family's house that originally lived in australia. so maybe i was wondering if they are more popular in other countries.i think the name of it could be a quilt, but the pictures of quilts i looked at online were not as thick.i really want to know, it's the best sleep i ever got, and my apartment is really cold
