I have a plan for a house and the basement plan shows a small octagon in the middle of the rec room with a D inside it. Anybody know what that stands for? My guess was maybe a supporting pillar/column, but the D doesn't mean anything to me.

Nice use of us there. Satellites cannot pick up smell as they are VERY far away from you. For example I wouldn't be able to smell whatever you're doing from 100 yards away. But they do have satellites that can get a very good image of you.
Some wavelenghts of the IR waves form a part of the visible light. Those IR rays can pass thru glass. Long IR waves have less energy.While entering, they use the energy to get in. With the little amount of energy left, maybe they can't come out . This is a pure guess.
