What everyday inventions were created originally for the USA space program? Why should we keep the program?

Answer:

Yes - locked. Panhandle of Florida, USA. We live in the country, and we have neighbors that 'cook' so we get the occasional meth-head at our door. We had one last night when we were getting the kids to sleep - scary.
I've been in San Antonio once, loved it anyway. I live in Sydney Australia and yes my doors are always locked, you have to do that nowadays
I very much prefer blue barrels and wood stocks. These days, of course, it's possible to get stainless barrels with special coatings that don't shine like an airport beacon, and synthetic stocks that don't sound like a drum and bugle corps while you're walking in the field, but it seems like a fix for a fix that didn't fix anything to begin with.
I dont lock the doors when i am home, I dont even lock them when i am not home!. I live in a remote part of australia, and my nearest neighbour is a good 1 hours drive or a good day trip away by horse. The only unwanted visitors I get are stray kangaroos or nosy furry animals occassionally. So my doors are always unlocked.
My doors are always locked and I live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). It's like a reflex, lol.
