I just got mine off so i'll help you. 1. It didnt actually take that long to get it on, maybe like 20 minutes? 2. it doesn't hurt to get it on. you will probably have to tighten it twice a day, and that will leave your teeth sore for the first few days, like maybe a 6 or 7? depends on your pain tolerance but you will get used to it and eventually it won't be painful when you get it tightened. 3. Try not to eat sticky foods, cause if they get stuck under, it can be annoying. 4. your lisp should last a couple of days, try properly speaking and you will be fine. 5. um i'm not really sure what to say except for painkillers, such as ibuprofen. Just take good care of your teeth and ask your orthodontist for advice! good luck!
