I love em! My horse is barefoot, but I have to use them on 5 hour ride or he pulls up sore. They are AWESOME! Definitely worth the money. But you could try barefoot. Once used to it, they are fine. I jump, run, do trails(and on roads) with my horse barefoot.
I had this problem before and a photographer said it had something to do with the ingredients in the makeup I was using. I forget which one was the problem. Perhaps you can try having a picture without makeup and see if you're still really white and if not, you'll know it has something to do with your makeup. Otherwise, check with a photographer and see if they can offer any suggestions. Good luck.
