They always say quot;Oh she went to a red carpet event, quot; or they got her picture at quot;the red carpet?quot; I don't get it! Is it just a RED CARPET that they walk on? What's the purpose? I know this question is stupid... but I'd REALLY like to know. It's killing me. :(
Red Carpet really signifies that a celebrity attended a big event in the entertainment industry - Academy Award, SAG Award, CMA etc. They are not just walking down the street etc. At these events, there is usually a red carpet because the event is supposed to be glamorous and all the celebrities come out with their full attire. It could be a really formal event such as the Academy Awards or slightly less formal such as the MTV Movie Awards (although red carpet is usually associated with the more formal)
I enjoyed Penelope Cruz's gown she wore to the 2012 Oscars. She gave the effect of a suitable famous person. It recognized advantageous on her along with her epidermis tone and the coiffure that she had. I particularly favourite it. It became as quickly as ordinary yet based!
well not all red carpets r acctually red. like at the premiere for charlie and the chocolate factory they had a brown one. but its still called a red carpet. it just means the carpet they lay out that celebrities walk on while doing press interviews and stuff, before a movie premiere or award show or whatever. im not sure why theyr red though... but a red carpet event just means its an event with alot of celebrities and other succesful showbiz people
It's supposed to look like they're royalty.
