Question:

What is a dead load and a live load? And whats the difference?

I really needhelp!!!

Answer:

i don't know i know i am usually cold and it has to do with my anemia my husband and i are usually at odds over the thermostat, him being too hot and me being too cold i have heard that because women have lower blood pressure than men and slower metabolic rates, we are often colder than men are i think maybe it is just in your office, but whatever
True, but then we blokes don't have to worry about looking like we're smuggling peanuts when it does get cold :o)
I EXPERIENCED THAT ATTITUDE WITH GIRLS ALSO WITH MY WIFE, YEAH MAYBE IT'S A GIRL THING, AND MAYBE THEY REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT THEY FELT THE WORST FEELING THAT THEY HAVE INSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE, NOTHING GIVES DUDE; IT'S JUST A IRRITATING TEMPERATURE ALSO IN YOUR EAR, IT'S OUR SAYING THAT (SALA SA INIT SALA SA LAMIG) WRONG HEAT WRONG COLD HEHEHEHE AND YEAH MY CAPS LOCK WAS STOCK, SORRY DUDE, AND THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER, BUT I DIDIN'T TRY IT YET, HOPE IT'LL WORKHIHIHIHIHI
Women's lives run in 4 week cycles, and their body temperature changes as does sometimes their moodJust be a good man and adjust the gage when asked, before tears and hysteria kicks in.
Dead load is the weight of the structure itselfThe structure has to first support itselfThe live load is any other force or weight imposed on the basic structure as intendedAn example could be a highway bridge which would weigh much more than the (live) loads it carries or resists whether they are moving or notAnother example would be a construction crane which will itself move and support its own (dead) weight while it carries a live loadWhen the structure itself moves, there are additional dynamic loads to be consideredThese would also be live loads added to the static gravitational loads.
