Question:

what is better for bathrooms, painting or ceramic?

well, I have an abandon apartment, and I want to make over it, so I can live there, and the bathroom is a disaster so I want to know, should I paint the walls, or make it with Ceramic, for the water could waste the wall paining, what should I do?

Answer:

Ceramic is better but it goes out of style which could make house hard to sell and expensive to remodel. I have plastic stone looking stuff around tub and rest is painted. Been here 33 years and no problem with paint. I start with a heavy orange peel coat of texture paint then semigloss paint with an additive for mold. Orange peel is a texture that you achieve by using a thick nap roller. By doing it that way you do not see drips from water and easy to clean.
u could blame it on the animal i guess other than that i have no freakin idea unless somehow u could sew the holes together so it dosent like like that happened
Just tell them the truth. No reason to lie about this.
You need to paint the walls but anywhere where there are taps like the tub, shower, or sink you need tiling and a seal to keep the water away from the walls.
