Fireproofing material is inorganic board, while thermal insulation material belongs to organic board. Fireproof material can also preserve heat, but it is not as good as thermal insulation material in this aspect.

Fireproof material, which is different from thermal insulation material and refractory, is a synthetic material with some fireproof subtrate added. It is essentially resistant to high temperature.
The refractory material is capable of withstanding high temperature burning, while fireproofing material is to prevent burning. They are different from each other
