Question:

What is the best bait/setup to use for a saltwater creek, in Jax Fl?

I live on a creek, fish on my dock. Catch many sheepshead. very fast tide.

Answer:

Okay, I like the weght above the hook and swivel. With the heavy tide use a one once lead. keep the leader short about 12 to 18 inches for sheephead. Also try a smaller hook. Maybe #1/0's. I have used even smaller #4, but sometimes get straitened out. 30lb leader on 12 to 17lb test. Use a live or very fresh shrimp. Sometimes half a shrimp works better on Sheephead.
Florida is required to tell you exactly why you failed the NICS check. First and foremost, are you a Florida resident? If no, that pretty much kills the deal right there. You can buy a hand cannon from a FFL holder, and he can only send it to your favorite FFL holder in your state of residence, provided you have led an uneventful life and are over 21. I have a sneaking suspicion you likely already know the answer to this question. How about coming clean with us? EDIT: Asker got back to me, and he's between a rock and a hard place. He's not a crook, and it appears Florida's record keeping leaves a little to be desired. Charged with and never brought to trial is NOT the same as a conviction. Now the poor bastard has to go through a painful restoration of rights process. If I were him I'd be tempted to kick some clerk in the nutz.
