We currently have loose insulation in our attic and it looks a little odd, I was wondering, what type of insulation is best for a hot climate? Thanks
I do not feel that the Summer Frocks might fray on their possess, as that suggests put on and tearIt will have to be kid's handsNot too certain approximately the metre, does not appear constantly to driftOtherwise a captivating little vignette, wherein the final line reverses the motion of the primary.
YupThat is exactly what it is, someones idea of a quick fix insulationVERY common to find this in older housesNot a good idea to leave it there thoughHave it removed and properly insulatedAl
You probably have cellulose insulation, which is fine if it is applied thick enoughIt is cheaper than fiberglass, so a lot of builders use it in atticsIt tends to settle over the years and lose efficiency though as it compactsUsually it is a grayish color, sometimes made from recycled paper treated with flame retardant.
Perhaps it was very draughty back then, prior to central heating being installed (if you have it) and they thought that by blocking the corners they could keep a bit more heat in.
