what kind of metal is pewter?
Their early material is nu metal. Then they went alternative metal after nu metal's popularity died out. Now they seem to be a mixture of alt metal and modern heavy metal. I think their most recent album is the most metallic stuff they've done so far. Although they're still not anywhere the near the heaviest band in the world as they claim to be lol. They're often classed as nu metal but I don't think they are anymore. Most bands that were originaly nu metal have changed their style since the mainstream snapped out of their nu metal phase. And they aren't death metal in the slightest. Death metal is bands like Nile, Morbid Angel, etc.
Okay, old slipknot was Nu Metal because the used Turntables and Sampling with occasional rap. New slipknot is Groove Metal. All up. Theyre a Nu Metal/Groove Metal band with Death Metal Influances
