When shifting gears from 2nd to 3rd when i excelerate the engine seems to miss fire and slows down then speeds up
I just hate the Subaru engine.. I can't understand why almost every Subaru needs head gaskets done before 100,000 miles. Its not the boxer style that bothers me. I was an old air-cooled VW mechanic for years (also boxer). So.. The only car I could find that meets your requirements (similar to mine) is the Toyota AWD Matrix (or Pontiac AWD Vibe). I have the Matrix. I like it. We run it with studded snows because we live on an un-sanded icy hilly road. It does better than my 4wd Dodge Ram.
Well awd cars that I like are Lexus IS 250. Those are nice and very reliable.
You have left it too long go to the hospital. Do you have a midwife? A doula? Do you have any issues with the pregnancy that could pose any complications? Think about how you'd feel if something happened to you or the baby. I say go to the hospital. The decision to have a home birth is something you should plan for.. not leave it to 2 days before you r due date.
