im going into 8th grade and im (and 3 other girls) are in charge of picking the musical. I've come up with: Annie, Willy Wonka, and The Sound of Music (nobody wants the S.O.M.) Greece is a bit too old for 6-8 graders to do....we've done alice in wonderland, aladin, sussical the musical. and the guys are difficult about girly plays....what else is there???
Personally, I'd say Willy Wonka. It is great or that age group and is a fun musical to perform and watch. Annie would be my second choice, though, for obvious reasons of age group/well known. My school actually did Annie this past year and we had 6-8 grade. I definitely would NOT do The Sound of Music... you need older people for that...
Grease isn't too old for 6-8 graders to do, actually I was in a production just a few months ago that involved Shakespeare and Grease combined. But that doesn't have to be your choice, I mean. You could do Hairspray, Les Miserables (which is a little mature, but could be abridged), Once Upon A Matress, or maybe The Wiz. Just my suggestions for something of your age group.
Peter Pan? We did it at my high school.
oh my god you the lifeless loser F.U.C.K you and i was telling the truth okay and you don't know if i have friends.
