I am doing a chemistry assignment involving hydrogen cars and how they are better than others. This assignment requires me to do an experiment on it, but I have no idea what I can do... Any ideas? I don't care what it is, as long as it is something.Thank you
Preform? *sigh* you may carry out chemistry experiments on activities liquids by utilising breaking down their chemical composition and examining each and every element and how it interacts with the others.
I'm guessing that you don't have access to a hydrogen car (or any other besides gas-powered), so that leaves you to find something wrong with a gasoline-powered car. In terms of engineering, there really are no advantages to hydrogen as of present developments. At this point they're inefficient, expensive, and the infrastructure simply isn't there. The only real selling point is that hydrogen can possibly be prepared without using fossil fuels. Really it's the same issues as the electric car. So, unless you have some way to measure the CO2 coming out of a car, I can't imagine a serious idea for an experiment that shows a disadvantage.
