Question:

What refrigerants have been tested to break bike locks?

Many thieves are using air conditioning refrigerants to freeze the metal on bike locks and shatter it with a hammer. What refrigerants have been tested and can do this so i will know a bit more on how to protect my bike. And also does r-134a work?

Answer:

I have lived in Canada my whole life, having 4 seasons with snow, heat, rain, and cool weather is quite beautiful. Driving in snow is not that bad, you should get a set of snow tires, or at least all season radials for the best traction on snow/ice. Shoveling snow is not to bad, usually it is quite light and easy to move. Depending on the size of driveway you may consider getting a snow blower. The coldest it gets in Maryland is 21°F, which is not very cold at all. You will probably enjoy having a winter season, the kids love to play in the snow. And once you move into spring/summer you really appreciate the winter season. Good luck!
The Moon landings were real. There was an excellent 'Mythbusters' TV special 3 or 4 years ago that conclusively debunked ALL the conspiracy theories about the Moon landings being faked. You should watch it.
