NEW YORK - A bachelor party at a strip club ended early Saturday with police opening fire on a group of men leaving the establishment, killing a groom on his wedding day and wounding two others, one critically. In 1999, NYPD officers killed Amadou Diallo, an unarmed West African immigrant who was shot 19 times in the entry to his apartment building. The four officers in that case were acquitted of criminal charges. n 2003, Ousmane Zongo, 43, a native of the western African country of Burkina Faso, was killed during a police raid on a warehouse where he repaired art and musical instruments. Zongo was shot four times, twice in the back. NYPD is rivaled only y the LAPD in police brutality. Could some members be KKK. Why are they so afraid of black men? They don't frequent white establishments like they do black. These men were not drug dealers and even if they were why is such excessive force used. There is a long history of police brutalityfire hoses, police dogs, remember?___
You can still drive your old VW if you want to. ALL cars in Sweden are safety inspected every second year so if it passes, you are good to go. They will verify just about all automotive systems, perhaps excluding the heater, but not excluding the defroster. The money will buy you scores of common cars. Just pick what catches your fancy. Swedes are hard on their service providers, expecting and getting almost perfection so most cars will have excellent service available. Also, as for WHAT you chose, it is rather immaterial when it comes to slippery roads. Most drivers use studded winter tires. That pretty well negates any difference between different car models. Four wheel drives are HUGELY over rated. They will get you started in deep snow, but not let you drive safer or stop one mm sooner. Remember, to g o d all cars are four rubber hand prints (foot prints?) on the road. The weight distribution may matter a little, but in truth, all cars are about the same. Just keep good rubbers on , be light on the accelerator and brake when it is slippery and you will do fine.
Chances are it won't catch on fire simply from the heat. But the heat will damage the blanket. Also, in the event your heater malfunctions and catches fire the blanket is right there to spread the fire. I'd recommend removing the a/c unit if it's not too much of a hassle.
