Stars, fire power, tanuki suit, boot, etc; they're all fair game.
Necessary? The dirt bike itself. Everything else is optional, even clothing. You can ride totally naked. Smart is a different thing. In order of being good: leather boots, leather gloves, long pants, long sleeves, helmet.
Fitting that goes into the fuel pump was leaking last week and so I use Versa Hem prime seal type 3 aviation place it back on , but I tighten to far to connect the hose that goes to the carb and turned back a bit, It stopped the leak from before but then I looked and it was seeping just a tiny bit and tiny bubble. Do you think I probably should have not turned it back and just taken it off and reply the sealant. Please let me know what you think .
You have more than one detector showing the same behavior? Assuming the batteries are correctly inserted, all I can think of is that electric power to the detectors is off. Go to your circuit breaker panel or fuse box and make sure the detectors are getting power.
Normally, you avoid the tape, because strings of it can be cut loose by the threads get into stuff.
Do not use teflon tape, the gas will dissolve it after a few days and you will have a leak I promise. Use good old thread sealant that is rated for oil and water most hardware stores have it in the plumbing section it works great. There are special fuel thread sealants but they can be hard to find locally, you can get GasOila on the internet pretty easy but then you have to wait for it. Also Home Depot has a good one its Rector Seal Tru-Blu sealant it works well with gas and oil too and as an added bonus it is vibration resistant. When you apply it only get it on the threads if you get it on the end of the tube and don't clean it off it may clog the regulator so just be careful and you should be alright. DO NOT USE THREAD TAPE you WILL be SORRY!!!
