Question:

What should be the minimum gap distance between the tyre and the swingarm of a motorcycle?

??

Answer:

Enough that it does not foul any items around it – chain, brake, swingarm, bodywork, suspension etc Remember that tyres will deform as they travel faster.
It sorta depends on the motorcycle but around 1in or 24mm. One has to be careful though because a tire that is bigger than stock can hit the swingarm if it goes flat during riding.

That is going to vary by motorcycle.
