I could be getting a job that's a few miles away, and i can't drive, so i think i'll bike. Only problem is the ice and snow. There's not very much most the time, in fact sometimes there's zero, it's just slippery, so i don't want to get studs or chains that will make the the road bumpy the whole way. Any ideas?
Static arching in pure and simple electrical arching (same as lighting). Just a smaller version and could ignite highly flamable material. At gas stations, a static arch could occur between the gas hose and a gas can. That's why they should always be set on the ground first (grounded)
