Very difficult to treat mega colon in babies? I thought it was impossibleo.o Anyway, it COULD be mega colonIs she pooping? Is normal? Did the pet store say how old she is?
How do you know she is dying ? as long she eating then that's good if she cant clean her self then you going have to help her with that, try putting some food down let her try and walk to you, you could massage her back legs for her, gently move them as to say she's riding a bikeas for her belly feeling bloaty you need to take her back to the vets see what they suggest they could give something to treat thatand also mesnioned that poor thing is strugling to walk.
Bloatiness is a sign of Megacolon, a disease that can and probably will kill your rat (it's very difficult to cure in young rats)I would immediately take it back to the vet, because they are the only people who can securely diagnose what's going on with it.
What bedding are you using? She might be allergicJust keep giving her her medicine and hopefully she will get better.
