Don Imus should be required to work in classrooms in Newark, NJ until next year's NCAA Championships. Then he will learn even though not all basketball players come from inner city schools.

I worked on an 05 Elantra with the same issue. The switch for the hood doesn't disengage far enough. You can test for this by arming the alarm and trying to pull up on the passengers side of the hood while it is closed. If the alarm trips, that's your issue. Unscrew the hood pin switch about half an inch (it's about half way up on the passenger side of the engine compartment) and back it with washers or electrical tape. This will cause the switch to properly open when the hood is closed.
It wouldn't surprise me, in recent years atheist groups have been getting more and more ridiculous. But hopefully not, because prayer is a good thing, and if a fire chief is asking for that kind of help, it's best to abide to that request!
Unless he is using public funds to buy stickers or posters, I find it unlikely. It would be more practical to have the public pee on the wildfire.
Not at all. The average Atheist, (not the few on this site) will have no problems with people who want to pray for any reason. It is a personal choice.
