Well all you have to do is putting all the water markers at the same level, but don't let the level go to the red part or you will lose
Depends on the umbrellas, are they silvergold or just white reflective? How dense is the material you would shoot through? Are they soft boxes? I would use softboxes if you can get them. Highly reflective umbrellas with probably show up as hot spots in the image.
