ummm.NO! This is the case of someone playing off your immediate feelings for Greinke in order to buy low. Not a good deal for you, pass on it.
Greinke has MUCH more talent than Shields. You really should never sell low on a player as talented as that. The only thing that Shields is offering that Greinke doesn't is wins. That's it. Even after the couple of bad games Greinke still has a slightly better ERA and WHIP than Shields. And the only reason Shields has more strikeouts is because he went crazy a couple weeks ago when he got 4 straight games against the pitiful Oakland and Seattle offenses, where he combined for 38 Ks (or half his season total, he only has 36 Ks total in his other 7 games). Once he starts facing the rest of the AL East (New York, Boston and Toronto) he won't keep getting Ks like that. Apparently, as someone who doesn't own Shields, you haven't witnessed HIS recent games he just gave up 11 hits, 7 ER and 2 HR to the Chicago White Sox, whose offense has been pitiful this year. In 11 starts, Shields has given up 11 HR and 82 hits this season (or 1 HR and 7.5 hits per game). And Greinke is the defending Cy Young winner so you KNOW he can pitch better than his last couple games. Wins are a hard category to predict but I wouldn't trade Greinke and downgrade my ratios just for a guy who may only get 5-7 wins the rest of the year.
no, he didn't win. He was in tour before he had cancer and was only a mediocre rider. He didn't even finish The Tour each time he enteredhe weighed too much and had trouble in the mountains. After he had cancer he lost a lot of weight and he rebuilt his body from almost nothing. He credits this as a major reason for his success post cancer. He began as a triathlete in Texas before he got serious about cycling exclusively. .
Wow I think you just set a record of posting the SAME QUESTION on so many different categories (no less then five) My first suggestion: Insert some paragraphs to make it easy to read and understand.
