If you are talking about concrete then you have figure it by the cubic yard not the square yard

My dad works for a cement company and they charge on average...about $70-$80 per cu. yd. Although you should call your local company for a quote. Usually 3ft. x 3ft. x 3 ft.
If you ring your local supplier they will tell you how many cubic yards you will need, the price per cubic yard, and the delivery costs. If there is more than one supplier, ring around to see if another is cheaper.
