Generally you would use pins to restrain it to the position you want and let it dry again. Water doesn't mix with resin at all, so the arthropod has to be completely dry of water before embedding in resin. Don't know whether alcohol mixes with the resin, mostly it doesn't and you would have to some really toxic substances instead which you don't want to deal with. So I'd try if embedding it dry work, though beware of air bubbles
