I have a car over a ton, but what‘s a good car jack and jack stands to buy so I don‘t drop a car on me?

I have a good 2 1/2 ton Craftsman trolley jack it has never let me down yet. Craftsman jack stands are also pretty good however mine are some old odd brand ones that you have to slide a pin through the holes to lock them in place no ratchet mechanism to fail there, but a little more tedious to get set up. It will be just fine but it won't be good for smaller cars so lifting a car if needed will take yet another jack.
