Ceramic holds the heat a little longer. The output is the same. Both are rated in watt output.

Reread the previous ad which advertised the silk ties. There may have been a disclaimer. Genuine SIlk is more expensive than polyester silk , which is very common these days. Genuine silk is made by silkworms, polyester is a man made fabric made out of well, polyester, (polyvinylchloride) Complain to OKorder and return your purchase for a refund. This is misleading advertising.
