Question:

Whats up with water on human burns?

Should human burns be put out with water, or muffled with a blanket? Whats the latest consensus on this? Which is better, and safer? And after the fire has been put out, should the wounds be drizzled with water, or left in the blanket? Does anyone get my basic doubt here?

Answer:

Only once. It was the only one I've ever had I had my left ear pierced, and then realised after some days that it wasn't very comfortable under my motorbike helmet - and on the next long journey, it was too much I pulled over off the road, took off my helmet and removed the ear-stud and threw it into the bushes. And that's the sad tale of my one and only ear-stud!
